Our massage treatments, apart from our Sports Massage, have been designed by the product house Elemis. They have combined the use of 10 different touch types in each massage design including Shiatsu, Swedish, Thai, Balinese, Indian Ayurveda, Reiki, Chinese Tui Na, Reflexology, Middle Eastern and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. They all focus on relieving tension and alleviating stress.
Please note: You will be unable to receive massage treatments with Defern if you have had a recent operation (within 6 months), you have an undiagnosed oedema or any chronic or inflamed back conditions.
A bespoke massage that will manipulate areas of soft tissue to aide and improve areas of concern for clients regularly engaged in physical activity. You may be looking for some manipulation prior to, or after exercise or competition, be looking to enhance performance, aid recovery, or reduce and prevent injury.
Performed on a bed of comfy pillows, mothers-to-be will be made to feel relaxed and restored to optimum wellness. This unique pregnancy massage is profoundly nurturing and tranquil. The massage allows a sensitive touch, combined with comfort, and encourages a deep level of relaxation to address any emotional and physical concerns, and to relieve tension in the back, shoulders, scalp, hands, and feet.
Important to note: You will be unable to receive this treatment if you have not yet passed the 1st trimester (12 weeks). You will need to proceed with caution & advice if you have had or have high or low blood pressure.
Clients will not lay on their tummy throughout this treatment, even if the bump is not apparent. The bump will also not be touched or massaged.

The Elemis Swedish Massage is a manual therapy using long effleurage strokes, kneading, and friction movements. This encourages improved blood circulation and removal of toxins, thus relieving muscle tension and reducing stress.
